June 2024
We hope that you and your family are enjoying a happy sunny weekend.
We thank you for your continued support for Entrust Care Partnership and the work we do, it is really much appreciated as always.
If you know of anyone who would like to read this Newsletter, please do share.
Our Celebrating Children Event in May seems a bit of a distant memory but we had a wonderful time. There are so many individuals to thank in making it happen and it was a huge effort but we say a special thank you to Selina Turner and my fellow Director Carole Weaver who are amazing.
The event would NOT have been possible without Hunningham Cricket Club, so thank you so much to Mark Maskell and to our marvellous volunteers.
We also thank the Janet & Bryan Moore Charitable Foundation who have partly funded the event, together with donations from Interns at the National Grid.
It is not often we have the opportunity to publicly and in person give the Top Spot to parents, children, young people and families but at our Celebrating Children Event we could and did !!
We celebrated the lives of your children, their contribution to society and the joy they bring to everyone. You are all doing a fantastic job often against considerable odds and challenges. We applaud you.
The day was shared by 75 Families, 135 children and young people and 116 adults; we also had 36 volunteers.... a total of 287 attendees plus of course numerous and varied activity partners.
Now in other news.... if you are living in a wall to wall football household, what do we think of Gareth Southgate and the team or Steve Clarke and Scotland or the country you may be following?
Entrust Bears and Spartans, our two football clubs, certainly continue to flourish and love the opportunity to play regular footie.
In the next section Diane Morris, our Family Support Worker shares her summer plans. Thank you Diane.
Warwickshire County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF)
Diane and Eve are delighted to be able to offer a Specialist SEN provision for 8-12 year olds with additional needs this summer. Picnics in the Park (Southam)
Diane runs our Little Acorns Play and Stay Group every Friday in Southam at The Grange Hall during term time and families were asking if they could still get together during the summer, so Diane and her family have set some dates aside to meet up at the local park for a picnic, play and chat.
It will be informal, as in just turn up on the day at the Play Park next to St James School, Toll Gate Road and keep a look out for an Entrust Teeshirt. Or of course you can email Diane beforehand. on fsw2@entrustcarepartnership.org.uk to register an interest
With very best wishes from us all at Entrust we will be in touch again soon
